My wife makes it mandatory to watch that this 30 minute drag drool intermitted with a consolidated 10 minute sale break every night at home. I dont complain though (dont have much choice there, have i??)
But I detest the comparison between Kolangal and Fanaa … I dont mind watching Devayani going through the whirlpools of disaster every step in her life than see Aamir doing the militant with misplaced loyalty.
What makes my tryst with Fanaa being more whacky was that we bought tickets that landed us in the third row in 6 degrees.
My Message to the Gujarathi’s who are fanatical about Fanaa :
Chuck it, its not worth the trouble….

@Zapper: The Kolangal Effect is just a term applicable to all films, megaserials, stories, etc., etc., etc. Now, you also say that Kolangal is a drag drool, just think, the 30 minutes of sobbing can be summed up in less than 5 minutes… That’s what is called the Kolangal Effect.
I summed up Fanaa (3 hours) in 3 minutes to a friend and hence the equation…
