I met up with my cousin sometime last week and he introduced me to some new music.
One was Richie Blackmore’s Temple of the King, a slow song on the lines of Hotel California that appeals to your heart. The song features a nice long guitar piece in the middle that I really like.
The second, it’s pretty funny, it’s fusion music at it’s best. Black Eyed Peas’ The Elephunk Theme. This song is a remix of Ilayaraja’s Unakkum Enakkum Aanandham from Sri Raghavendra. To tell the truth, I haven’t heard any of the songs from Sri Raghavendra, but when I heard The Elephunk Theme, the first thing that struck me was the Tamil lyrics in the background. However, this song has a nice beat to which you can tap your foot nicely. On surfing a bit, I stumbled upon this post. Check it out…

You don’t know me.. but well anyway, you should hear this Indian/Western fusion track from the Matrix Revolutions. It is called Juno Reactor - Navras.
This song has lyrics from the Upanishads.

@Kishore: I’ve heard Navras long back. I’m surprised the RSP didn’t start a riot about it (or did they?).
I commented about BEP’s track just because I heard it only last week…
OT, I prefer Juno Reactor’s Mona Lisa Overdrive and Burly Brawl tracks from Reloaded…
