Outbound Training
Yesterday, the training department of HCL organized an outbound training at Silver Sands, East Coast Road, for the entire batch of campus inductees. It was a day full of fun games, all with a lesson on corporate team building, strategies, communication, etc., etc., etc. We all had a great day at the beach “resort” (just a clearing in the middle of a clump of trees near the beach and a few tents on stilts).
Now, I know that ESDC people can be placed either at Vadapalani or Ambattur, so I’m hoping desperately for Vadapalani.

Both are far off for me, but actually Vadapalani is closer. It takes me just half an hour to go to Vadapalani, whereas it takes me an hour to go to Ambattur. But unfortunately for me, I’ve been posted to Ambattur.
And as for Advanced C++, it was a general induction for all the campus inductees, including those placed in gaming, semiconductor and system software divisions.

They wouldn’t have put you in gaming. Besides, it’s more of game coding rather than game playing. :D.
