Mobile Madness
This week, I’ve been toying aroung with a few mobile phones. I bought a Samsung C100 set for my mom, took her Nokia 6610 and gave my 3315 to my sister. But yesterday, my mom started complaining that she wasn’t happy with the alarm feature and wanted her old 6610’s alarm. Finally we decided that she keeps her old set and I took the C100. At least I can use it more effectively than she can. ![]()

Kishore: Use Hello to post a picture of yourself on the blog, then go to the post, cut the image link and paste that in your profile page. Finally, delete the post.
Sat: You’re right, the tones aren’t as loud as the 3315 was, but then again, some tones are really loud in the office environment. The only other problem is that the C100 accepts ringtones only in the MMF format, and it’s not so easy to find good ringtones. On the bright side though, there is a free MIDI to MMF convertor available on the net to do the job and you can upload both ringtones and wallpapers using the built in infrared port on the phone. Plus if you have GPRS service, you can use the phone as a GPRS modem to surf the web.
