The Nightmare Reloaded!
Remember the virus I said that I deleted? Well, it turned out to be the Beagle worm and had gone into a relatively major infection of my computer. I ran a scan on Sunday and it didn’t turn out much but a bunch of false extensions. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but when I ran a scan today, it turned up 393 infected files, all infected by Beagle. So far, I think that all the infected files have been deleted, and no new files turned up when I ran the scan again, so I hope that my laptop’s clean now.
My aunt’s monitor seems to have gone for a huge sixer. The monitor repair guy says that the Line Out Transformer could be damaged, resulting in a short circuit somewhere on the board. Anyway, I’ve given her my monitor as my computer is still in a comatose condition.
