Today was the final day of the SSN culfest SenSation 2004. We spent most of the day just yakking and having fun. All my photos are now ready and I’ll post them as soon as I can.
Today was Day 2 of the 3 day SSN culfest SenSatioN 2004. Venky & I managed to get a comp set up outside the canteen & were playing the latest Tamil hits for quite a while. We even managed to play Dola Re Dola for Shiva, though he got a bit pissed at us.
Finally, all our project related work is over. Thanks to our HOD, we were all in a state of absolute tension as to whether our project report would be accepted, or whether we would have to do it all over again. She wanted us to submit a draft copy on Tuesday, and then, 6 copies laser print today, bound and finished without any errors. What a pain!
Thanks to her, we can’t even enjoy the college day as we would normally have. The week off began today, but because of the project report, I had to stay back in Adyar and collect the bound copies. Vimal was also there with me, and we left together at about 1 in the afternoon and reached the college at about 2.30. We then managed to get PCR’s sign on the project report & then Radha signed it, thankfully. Unfortunately for others, I believe about 6 batches have to reprint their reports. What a total waste of their money!
WOW!!! The match was absolutely mind-blowing and went right down to the wire. I especially loved Nehra’s last ball, taking Moin Khan’s wicket with a full toss! I still can’t believe it!
We actually had college today. The juniors had organized a farewell party for us, where we had great fun. CellOne had a nice offer, broadcasting the score every over from each base station, instead of the base station’s location as usual. Even now, as I look at my cellphone, I see Please Join Us For 2nd Match, instead of the usual Mahatma Gandhi Rd. I still can’t figure out how India managed to get 349 runs. WOW!!!
I’ve now got a photoblog at http://nirenjan.fotopages.com. One of my tour photos is there. I’ll upload more as time permits.
I’m just back from the college tour to the north. We visited Agra, Kullu Manali & Delhi over a span of a week, not counting the train journey. I’ll post the details of the trip as soon as I recover from this terrible cold that I’ve contracted.
